The N TankTrain Intermediate model train showcases two GATX classes (282-series and 486-series), boasting finely detailed walkways and meticulous underbody plumbing and rigging. It comes equipped with 100-ton roller-bearing trucks featuring rotating bearing caps, accurately painted and printed for authentic realism. This train also includes separate wireform grab irons, etched metal coupler platforms, and correct walkways, manways, and load/unload plaques specific to each series. It sports full transfer plumbing tailored to each prototype series and end (A-end or B-end). The train is adorned with soft vinyl transfer hoses that adapt to the car's movements as it navigates curves, and it's fully assembled and ready to run right out of the box. It flaunts a highly-detailed, injection-molded body and body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers. The train runs smoothly on 36" machined metal wheels with RP25 contours, compatible with all popular brands of track, with a minimum radius of 9 3/4" and a recommended radius of 11".
